Background
The journey of Education Beyond Borders Organization (EBBO) began in 2008, when ASCDE (Arab Society for Continuing Dental Education) introduced the first UK-accredited Master’s TNE (Transnational Education) degree in Egypt, in collaboration with the University of Dundee. This pioneering initiative successfully graduated over 90 dentistsin just seven years, setting a new benchmark for international education in the region.
In 2012, building on ASCDE’s success, EBBO was established to expand beyond dentistry and address the broader higher education landscape. EBBO capitalized on being the first mover in demonstrating the vast potential of bringing international degrees to Egypt — leading the way six years ahead of regulatory changes that later encouraged investment in transnational education.
Today, EBBO has evolved into a comprehensive education advisory firm. We have strengthened our team with experts in digital transformation, international branch campus (IBC) establishment, and K-12 education innovation, enabling us to serve both higher education and school sectors. Our expanded scope reflects our commitment to driving modernization, global partnerships, and sustainable growth across the entire educational ecosystem.
